I remember the days of spending hours getting ready. It was so fun! I would go to Pinterest and pin the look I wanted to achieve, then I would play with eyeshadows and lip colors on my hand to see what matched, then apply, remove, reapply, and repeat until I had the perfect cat eye or the perfect bronzed skin for summer or the perfect smokey eye. Now as my little one pulls at my sleeve, crying, it’s impressive if I even finish applying moisturizer. But something inside me just doesn’t feel right until my face is on and frankly, I just can’t get the day started without it. Vain? ABSOLUTELY. As a mom, I’ve become well adept at applying a full face in minutes and zooming our the door to catch story time. A huge part of efficiency for me has been knowing what products I like and what products I don’t, plain and simple. I will gradually be building a list of my go-to, tried-and-true, ready-in-minutes products to share with you so that you can look glam, make your playdate, and have your laundry going the whole time!
